The Veterinarians and staff of Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic support a variety of outreach efforts through volunteerism and fundraising.

Pet Adoption Program

Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic offers a pet adoption program to help secure suitable homes for stray and abandoned pets our staff have worked to rehabilitate from injury or poor health due to neglect.  Available pets can be seen at the link below.  Please call for additonal information or stop by to meet and visit with the available pets.

Rescue Group Support

We support pre-approved local rescue groups by providing reduced-cost medical care for injured or sick animals. We also provide web links to these rescue groups to assist in finding homes for these pets.  Please visit the links below if you're interested in adding a new pet to your family.

Community Events

Our interests reach farther than veterinary medicine, into the world of human medicine and disease.  In 2008 several of our team members participated in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk in Atlanta.  Among the team were Receptionists, Technicians, and Veterinarians.  Dr. Joe Gastom helped sponsor each team member for this important fundraiser.  Below are just a few images from this event.

Holiday Mail for Heroes Campaign 2009

Dr. Gaston and the staff at both clinics participated in the campaign to collect greeting cards and gifts to be sent to our troops serving overseas.  Among our activities we collected over 40 holiday cards that were mailed to the trroops via the Red Cross.  Some of our clients also donated gift bags filled with cookies and coffee supplies to be shipped to our servicemembers who are away from their loved ones this holiday season.

We want to thank our clients and staff for reaching out to our troops this holiday, letting them know they are in our hearts and telling them how much we appreciate the sacrifices they've made to keep our country safe.
